Bicyclist Rickey Soto Fogle Severely Injured in San Jose Hit-and-Run Crash
SAN JOSE, CA (July 6, 2021) – Rickey Soto Fogle was severely injured after a hit-and-run crash on Almaden Expressway in San Jose.
NBC Bay Area wrote that friends identified the San Jose man as the victim of the collision which occurred last week on Friday.
The incident happened on July 2 when Rickey Soto Fogle was riding a bicycle on Almaden Expressway in San Jose. For an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the bicyclist in the roadway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found him left lying on the ground. Rickey Soto Fogle sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident.
He ended up with four broken ribs, punctured lungs, fractures to his pelvis, arm and leg, and a neck and spine injury. Medical personnel rushed the victim to the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver who hit the cyclist did not stop to help him and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the motorist.
The San Jose hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
