Pedestrian Killed in Fairfield Car Accident on Travis Boulevard
FAIRFIELD, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2019) — Ricky Acosta, 39, an Arizona resident, was struck and killed Thursday morning in a traffic accident.
The pedestrian accident was reported on E. Travis Boulevard between Kidder Avenue and North Texas Street.
The pedestrian was struck by a car and suffered fatal injuries. Meanwhile, the driver stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
There were no further details about what happened and the name of the victim has not been released pending notification of relatives.

At this time, police will speak to any witnesses to learn what happened. It’s unknown at this time if there was any surveillance cameras or dash cam footage that can help police with their investigation.
