Ricky Munoz, 21, Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Telegraph Road Wednesday
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Ca (September 19, 2019) – 21-year-old Ricky Munoz died in a pedestrian accident on Telegraph Road, the Press Telegram reported.
On September 18, Wednesday, Munoz was struck by a car near the 11700 block of Telegraph. The collision took place shortly before 1 a.m.

Preliminary investigation revealed Munoz got involved in an altercation at Maggie’s Pub in the 11900 block of Telegraph. Munoz apparently chased an alleged thief and ended up a couple of blocks away. For reasons still unclear, a passing security vehicle hit Munoz.
The impact resulted in fatal trauma to Munoz. Responding medics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, officials identified the other parties involved in the altercation as 21-year-old Kyle Michael Guinea-Mangubat, of Pico Rivera; and 21-year-old Anthony Edward Varela, of Montebello. Police reportedly booked both Guinea-Mangubat and Varela on suspicion of murder in relation to the deadly accident.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
