Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at Ridgecrest Boulevard and Gold Canyon Street
RIDGECREST, CA (March 18, 2023) – A crash at Ridgecrest Boulevard and Gold Canyon Street left a motorcyclist injured in Ridgecrest.
According to an article published by The Daily Independent, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on March 15 shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The incident happened when the motorcycle rider collided with the rear of an SUV for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of West Ridgecrest Boulevard and North Gold Canyon Street.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who complained of leg pain as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the accident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ridgecrest and Gold Canyon to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
