Rigoberto Rosales Fatal Adelanto Pedestrian Accident on US Highway 395
Man, 25, Struck and Killed on Highway 395
ADELANTO, Calif. (Feb. 12, 2024) — Rigoberto Rosales, 25, of Adelanto, died in a pedestrian accident Sunday night on Highway 395 and Cactus Road in Adelanto.
The collision occurred at around 9:22 p.m. on Feb. 11th, near the High Desert Truck Stop, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.
A driver in a 2016 GMC Terrain SUV struck the Adelante man as he walked across the highway. The report stated he was wearing dark-colored clothing.
Paramedics responded to the scene and located the young man suffering major injuries. They requested an air ambulance, but unfortunately he died before he could be taken to a hospital. Rigoberto Rosales was later identified by the coroner.
The driver of the SUV stopped on the right shoulder and had its airbags deployed and flashers on.
Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Victor Valley Station are heading up the investigation.
