El Capitan High School Student Riley Hanson Killed in Highway 99 Crash
ELK GROVE, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2018) — Riley Hanson, 16, died in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night on Highway 99, just south of Eschinger Road near Elk Grove, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The crash took place over the weekend about 6 p.m. Hanson, an El Capitan High School student, was a passenger in a vehicle involved in the crash near Eschinger Road. She was transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center with major injuries.
Fatal Crash Investigation
The collision remains under investigation by police who are piecing together the facts.
