Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Pine Avenue
Rimforest, CA (November 19, 2022) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of State Route 18 and Pine Avenue Saturday evening.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck an individual at the intersection in Rimforest. Officials described the car involved in the wreck as a black truck. Following the collision, the driver apparently pulled over and checked on the victim.
Pedestrian Killed in Rimforest Accident on State Route 18
Shortly after 5:06 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics immediately attended to the victim found lying in the roadway. Despite life-saving measures performed by medical personnel, the pedestrian sadly succumbed to their trauma and passed away. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly pedestrian accident at State Route 18 and Pine Avenue in Rimforest.
