At Least 1 Killed in Collision at Elkhorn Boulevard and W 6th Street
Rio Linda, CA (May 16, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly traffic accident that occurred in the area of Elkhorn Boulevard and W 6th Street.
On May 16, Tuesday, CHP logged a collision between a man riding a motorcycle and another car. Additional details on the description of the motor-vehicles involved in the catastrophic incidnet have not been discussed thus far.
Officials said the two motorists crashed into each other at the intersection in Rio Linda around 6:41 p.m.
Deadly Traffic Accident in Rio Linda
Shortly after the collision, rescue teams arrived at the scene. Responding paramedics checked the conditions of all parties involved in the accident. After the evaluation, authorities sadly pronounced one person dead. The identity of the fatal victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives assigned to handle the case stayed at the crash site the whole evening. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the deadly accident that happened at Elkhorn Boulevard and W 6th Street in Rio Linda.
