Auto vs. RV Collision on Highway 160 Friday
Rio Vista, CA (June 25, 2021) – A traffic accident involving recreational vehicle occurred Friday afternoon on State Route Highway 160, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Our sources indicated the RV collided with a passenger car on SR-160 at West Brannan Island Road in Rio Vista.
The California Highway Patrol logged the crash Friday at approximately 1:15 p.m. Per accident dispatch, the force from the impact caused debris to scatter across the roadway. For this reason, officers shut down the highway, leading to congestion and delays in the area.

When medical personnel arrived at the site, they immediately rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed at least one person sustained major injuries from the collision. Additional details on the victim have not been discussed thus far.
