RIPLEY, California (May 20, 2014) – A pedestrian suffered major injuries after being hit by a driver Tuesday morning in the 14200 block of Warmington Street, just east of Riverside County, according to a press release by the CAL FIRE/Riverside Fire Department.
About 11:30 a.m., firefighters responded to the pedestrian accident to assist the person who was hit by a car and critically injured. The victim was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are investigating the crash to determine liability.
