Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Ripon Crash on Northbound Highway 99
RIPON, CA (June 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 99 in the city of Ripon.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:16 p.m.
CHP said a sedan and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Ripon. The two crashed on northbound Highway 99, just north of Jack Tone Road.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found the motorcyclist who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the No. 1 lane of northbound Highway 99 to close following the wreck. They did not mention if the driver of the car sustained any wound or if they stopped after the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Ripon crash.
