Corona Man, 22, Killed in Hesperia Crash on Highway 138
HESPERIA, Calif. (Jan. 10, 2022) — Ritchie Serrano, 22, of Corona, died Friday morning in a Hesperia crash on State Route Highway 138 near Summit Post Office Road.
The fatal crash occurred about 8:44 a.m. on Jan. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report a beige 4-door Honda and a white Toyota collided in a turnout on the highway.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time between the two vehicles.
The young man suffered major injuries and died at the scene about 9:11 a.m., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner. Authorities reported one fatality, but it’s unknown at this time if there were any injuries.
Meanwhile, tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles and investigators are working to determine liability for the Hesperia crash on Highway 138.
