2 Injured in Riverbank Crash at Patterson Road and 8th Street
RIVERBANK, CA (September 8, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Patterson Road and 8th Street in Riverbank.
According to an article published by The Oakdale Leader, the wreck took place on Sunday. Officers reported the accident in the morning of September 5.
Deputies said silver Honda van and a silver Toyota collided for an unknown reason in Riverbank. They crashed at the intersection of Patterson Road and 8th Street.
2 Cars Collide
Both vehicles came to a stop on the railroad tracks nearby. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found two people hurt.
A female passenger riding the Honda and the driver of the Toyota complained of pain as a result of the collision. Medical personnel took them to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Patterson Road and 8th Street to shut down following the wreck.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Riverbank crash.
