Motorcyclist Badly Injured in Riverbank Hit-and-Run Crash at Roselle and Patterson
RIVERBANK, CA (September 8, 2021) – A motorcyclist was badly injured after a hit-and-run crash at Roselle Avenue and Patterson Road in Riverbank.
According to an article published by The Oakdale Leader, the accident took place last week on Friday. Officers reported the wreck in the morning of September 3.
Deputies said a vehicle struck the motorcycle rider for an unknown reason in Riverbank. The two crashed at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Patterson Road.
Motorcycle Rider Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist hurt in the roadway. The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers affirmed that the driver of the car did not stop to render aid to the rider and then fled the area. They described the vehicle as a Nissan Altima.
Authorities forced the intersection of Roselle and Patterson to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Riverbank hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
