FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 16, 2020) —  A minor-injury Riverdale car accident was reported Friday on Highway 41 in the unincorporated Camden community.

One person ended up with minor injuries after two cars and a semi-tractor trailer truck were in a crash on State Route 41. Additionally, police noted that a grey Toyota Camry was in the roadway and its driver was unable to move it.

According to reports by the California Highway Patrol, the traffic collision occurred on October 16 at 6:48 a.m. in the Camden area, roughly 3.5 miles east of Riverdale.

Police said the Toyota, a silver SUV and the truck crashed for an unknown reason near the intersection just south of Mount Whitney Avenue.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found one person injured as a result of the crash.

The name of the wounded party and the number of people hurt was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, police said they are heading up an investigation into the cause of the Riverdale-area crash.

The CHP incident number is 00116.
