RIVERSIDE, California (June 5, 2014) – Two semi-tractor trailer trucks and four vehicles were involved in an injury crash Thursday afternoon on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at Center Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12 p.m., CHP officials responded to the collision in the center divider between the drivers of a black Hyundai Santa Fe, a black 1991 Ford Thunderbird, a motorhome towing a Jeep, a Honda Civic and two big rig trucks.
Police say the driver of the black Thunderbird was airborne after allegedly speeding through the interstate at Stevens Center prior to the collision, the CHP report said.
CAL FIRE/Riverside Fire Department officers responded to the collision with paramedics.
