RIVERSIDE, California (October 14, 2014) – A two-vehicle collision involving injuries was reported Wednesday morning on the westbound State Route 91 Freeway at Adams Street, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a white 2001 Nissan Altima sedan collided with a black Hyundai Elantra and possibly a third vehicle. The Nissan exited the freeway at Adams and stopped at a Shell gas station where they waited for an ambulance due to reported injuries. A man and his 10-year-old daughter told police they were “pretty shaken up” and pulled over onto the right shoulder of the freeway following the crash.
Paramedics responded to assist those who were injured and tow trucks from Pepe’s Tow removed two vehicles.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“A police report will be issued assigning fault to one or more parties involved in this crash,” said Attorney James Johnson. “It’s important to take steps to protect your legal rights following an accident.”
