RIVERSIDE, California (December 9, 2015) — At least one person appears to have been injured when a car was rear-ended and pushed into the back of a big rig truck Wednesday morning on the eastbound State Route 60 Pomona Freeway, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 8:04 a.m., just east of Rubidoux Boulevard. A woman in a red Ford Escape was allegedly struck by a silver Kia and pushed into the back of the truck, but the truck driver didn’t stop and continued driving.
Firefighters and paramedics with CAL FIRE/Riverside County responded to help those injured in the crash. Police are investigating the circumstances and will report on their findings of liability.
