RANCHO MIRAGE, California (November 4, 2014) — Two people suffered moderate injuries Tuesday morning in a crash in the 70000 block of Highway 111, according to a press release by the Riverside County Fire Department.
The collision involving two drivers was reported about 7:50 a.m. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters responded to the two-vehicle crash and extricated one of the people who was trapped in the wreckage. Two people were taken by ambulances to local hospitals where they were treated for moderate injuries.
Police are heading up an investigation into the crash to determine liability.
“Hopefully those who were hurt in this crash obtain the best possible medical care available for a full recovery,” said Attorney James Johnson.
