RIVERSIDE: 2-Vehicle Injury Crash on 60 Freeway, Market Street

Two Injured in Riverside Car Accident on 60 Freeway

RIVERSIDE, CA (April 23, 2026) — Two people were injured in a crash Thursday morning in Riverside on the Moreno Valley 60 Freeway, just east of Market Street, the California Highway Patrol reports.

The two-vehicle collision occurred on westbound SR-60 around 7:33 a.m. on April 23rd, the CHP said.

The drivers of a red Tesla and a black Mazda Miata were involved and the vehicles blocked the fast lane.

Paramedics responded and transported two people to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Meanwhile, two trucks removed both vehicles from the freeway and investigators are working to determine fault for the accident.
