RIVERSIDE, California (January 4, 2017) — At least one person was hurt Wednesday morning in a collision involving four vehicles on the eastbound 91 Riverside Freeway,at 14th Street, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash took place about 7:47a.m. today. The report stated that a white Mazda, a blue Honda CRV, a gray Lexis and a white Ford SUV were involved. The Mazda was in the No. 1 lane with its airbags deployed, while the other three were over on the right shoulder after the crash. A 23-year-old male was may have been hurt and his vehicle was on fire near 14th Street.
Paramedics and firefighters responded and were blocking the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
