RIVERSIDE, California (April 9, 2017) – Two bicyclists were hospitalized after an alleged hit-and-run crash on Jackson Street late Sunday night, according to The Press Enterprise. (map)
The accident was reported about 11:45 p.m. in the Arlanza neighborhood near Audrey Avenue
As per the article, police said two cyclists were riding in the bicycle lane on Jackson Street were struck by a car driven. Both riders were transported to a hospital with injuries considered as moderate.
Their names and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
Meanwhile the driver involved, 19-year-old Riverside resident Yulissa Estrada, initially fled the scene following the crash. Police affirmed that Estrada turned herself Sunday and was booked into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run.
