3-Vehicle Riverside Crash on the 91 Freeway
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (May 20, 2021) — A 3-vehicle Riverside accident happened on the 91 Freeway Thursday morning near Tyler Street.
The traffic accident happened about 1:30 p.m. on May 20th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP reported the drivers of a black SUV and a red Chevrolet Cobalt sedan rear-ended a silver Lexus sedan in the No. 2 lane of the freeway. Police say the driver in the Chevrolet was slumped over the steering wheel after the collision, but the injuries were considered minor.
Meanwhile, it’s unknown how many in total were hurt in the crash.
A tow truck removed at least one of the vehicles due to heavy damage.
Investigators seek to determine liability for the crash.
