At Least 1 Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 91 Sunday
Riverside, CA (October 5, 2021) – A suspected hit-and-run car crash occurred on State Route Highway 91 on October 3, Sunday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.

Officials said a Mini Cooper was seen driving recklessly in the westbound side of the highway in Riverside. When the Mini Cooper approached the area near Pierce Street, the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and collided with two dark-colored cars.
The force from the impact resulted in significant damage to the two dark-colored cars.
Per CHP log, the Mini Cooper continued driving after the collision. Officials said the drivers of the two dark-colored cars also continued driving a followed the suspect. At this time, it remained unclear when and where the pursuit stopped.
The accident dispatch later mentioned at least one person suffered injuries as a result of the incident. Authorities continue to withhold information on the victim pending confirmation.
Investigators continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the hit-and-run crash on State Route Highway 91 in Riverside.
