5 Injured in Riverside Accident at Jackson and Audrey
RIVERSIDE (June 4, 2018) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Jackson Street and Audrey Avenue on Sunday afternoon, June 3, according to The Press Enterprise.
The accident was reported at around 1:17 p.m.
As per the article, Riverside Fire Department said for an unknown reason two vehicles collided at the intersection of Jackson Street and Audrey Avenue. One of the cars involved slammed into a palm tree following the crash.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed to have extricated at least one person who was trapped in the wreckage. A total of five parties were injured as a result of the incident.
Four people in their 20s riding the vehicle that struck a tree suffered critical injuries and were all taken to area hospitals for treatment. All four were reportedly not wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.
An occupant from the other car was treated for minor injuries at the crash site. The names and condition of all the patients were not immediately released.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
