3 Injured in Riverside Crash at La Sierra Avenue and Pierce Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (September 20, 2022) – Several were hospitalized after a crash at La Sierra Avenue and Pierce Street in Riverside.
According to a report published by the On Scene TV, the accident took place on Saturday. Officers responded to the wreck on September 17 at about 2:29 a.m.
Riverside police said three cars collided for an unknown reason in the city. The vehicles crashed at the intersection of La Sierra Avenue and Pierce Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
All three cars obtained major damage due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed one trapped person from the wreckage.
A total of three people ended up hurt as a result of the incident. Medical personnel then rushed the patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the area of La Sierra and Pierce to shut down for hours following the wreck.
The cause of the Riverside crash is still under investigation.
