1 Hospitalized After Collision in San Gorgonio Pass
Riverside County, CA (December 11, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a road accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway Sunday evening.
According to the Desert Sun News, two vehicles crashed into each other on I-10 in the area of San Gorgonio Pass. Earlier reports described the cars involved in the wreck as a Lexus and a white Tahoe. The force from the impact resulted in significant damage to both automobiles, officials said.
Injury Car Accident on Interstate 10 in Riverside County
Emergency crews arrived at the accident scene shortly after 5:38 p.m. Responding paramedics attended to all parties possibly hurt in the crash. After the evaluation, the Cathedral City Fire Department responders decided to transfer one victim to Desert Regional Hospital for further treatment. The name of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives handling the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. Authorities believed the wet conditions of the roadway possibly contributed to the incident. Further investigation on the case is ongoing to determine liability in the traffic collision that happened on Interstate 10 in Riverside.
