Riverside County Car Crash Highway 74 Near Mountain Center

3 Injured in Riverside County Crash on Highway 74 Near Mountain Center

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA (April 10, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash along Highway 74 near Mountain Center.

The Riverside County Fire Department received a call about the accident late Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:18 a.m.

According to their online post, two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. Cal Fire said they crashed on Highway 74, west of Mountain Center.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They attended to a total of three people who ended up injured as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took all three patients to a local hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, officers forced the roadway to shut down following the Mountain Center crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
