2 Hospitalized Ramona Expressway Crash Near San Jacinto
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (August 12, 2022) — A crash on the Ramona Expressway happened Friday morning near Bridge Street in the San Jacinto area of Riverside County.
The crash occurred about 5:42 a.m. on August 12th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred after a driver lost control of a vehicle in the westbound lanes and it crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with an eastbound vehicle.
Also, one of the vehicles reportedly went off the roadway.
CalFire Riverside firefighters responded to the scene to help those injured in the crash. Two people were reportedly taken by ambulances to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Finally, investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
