One Passenger Injured From Airbag in Accident on State Route 74
GREEN ACRES, Calif. (August 13, 2024) — A two-vehicle T-bone car accident happened Tuesday evening in Green Acres California on State Route 74 near Cortrite Avenue, in Riverside County.
The traffic accident occurred on the westbound SR-74 at around 8:04 PM on Tuesday evening on August 13, 2024, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The T-bone accident involved two vehicles and occurred in the town of Green Acres. Authorities were alerted from a iPhone automated alert. The responsible party was driving a black Toyota 4-Runner SUV.
The right lane of the highway became blocked due to the collision which now is a traffic hazard. A passenger that was affected from the accident said that the black 4-Runner went into her lane and she could not stop. This action is what most likely caused the crash, police said. The CHP did report that there were injuries, one of the passengers received a minor injury from the airbag hitting her face. Other than that report, CHP does not have anymore information on the extent of the injuries.
Paramedics responded and located those with injuries and possibly transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment of multiple minor injuries.
Investigators are working to determine who is at fault for the T-bone accident on State Route 74 in Green Acres California.
