RIVERSIDE, California (Saturday, December 5, 2015) – A blue Crown Victoria and a Walmart tractor-trailer truck collided on eastbound State Route Highway 60, east of Valley Way. The Crown Victoria became caught on the truck’s rear bumper. At least one subject sustained injury in the accident and required medical attention at a nearby hospital. Fortunately, traffic was not blocked. The vehicles managed to pull over to the right hand shoulder.
The firefighters reported that the driver of one of the vehicles, which remains unclear, fled on foot. He has not yet been apprehended.
The accident occurred at about 9:42 p.m., according to an incident report by the California Highway Patrol, San Bernardino. Wreckers were called to the scene to help clear away the vehicles.
