Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian Near Municipal Airport Wednesday
Riverside, CA (August 19, 2021) – A pedestrian died following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Central and Wilderness Avenue Wednesday evening.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck female party at the intersection of Central and Wilderness near Riverside Municipal Airport. Primary reports indicated the horrible crash took place about 9:15 p.m.

Responding emergency crews arrived at the scene and found a shopping cart across Central. Officials said the victim was pushing the cart when the collision took place. Despite life-saving measures, the woman succumbed to her injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the driver of the 2000 Mercedes-Benz reportedly stayed at the site and cooperated with the investigation process.
Further investigation on the deadly pedestrian accident at Central and Wilderness Avenue in Riverside is underway.
