At Least 1 Killed in Traffic Collision on Highway 60 Friday
Riverside, CA (June 5, 2021) – On June 4, Friday, a fatal car accident occurred on State Route 60 at Market Street in Riverside.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch reported a burgundy sedan veered off the highway for an unknown reason. The car crashed off the roadway, and came to a rest in the 1995 block of Market Street in Riverside.

Shortly after 10:20 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the accident scene. First responders found the sedan slammed against a tree. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sadly died from the crash.
Police continue to withhold the name of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Several factors surrounding the car accident at Highway 60 and Market Stret remained unclear. At this time, investigators continue tow work to determine exactly how and why the fatal incident in Riverside happened.
