1 Killed, 1 Injured in Riverside Crash at Mission Inn and Crestmore
RIVERSIDE, CA (December 2, 2021) – A crash killed one person and injured another at Mission Inn Avenue and Crestmore Road in Riverside.
According to an article published by My News LA, the tragic accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:50 p.m.
Riverside police said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. They crashed on the Mission Inn Avenue bridge at Crestmore Road.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics then arrived on the bridge separating Riverside and Jurupa Valley. They soon pronounced one driver dead at the scene.
Medical personnel provided treatment to at least one patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officers forced both directions OF Mission Inn to shut down for several hours near Crestmore following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Riverside crash is still under investigation.
