2-Vehicle Collision Near Pyrite Street Friday
Riverside, CA (March 26, 2022) – At least one person died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route 60 on March 25.
The California Highway Patrol group reported two vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Pyrite Street. Per CHP log, the wreck involved a gray van and a black SUV.
Deadly Car Accident on State Route 60 in Riverside, March 25
Shortly after 11:35 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. First responders found a female party lying on the side of the roadway. Our sources indicated a male party pulled the victim out of the traffic lanes onto the right-hand shoulder of the highway. Medical personnel immediately rendered aid to the woman. Sadly, the victim succumbed to her injuries despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the conditions of other parties involved in the traffic crash.
Detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident happened on State Route 60 in Riverside.
