RIVERSIDE: Fatal Pedestrian Accident Jurupa Avenue at MagnoliaRIVERSIDE, California (April 25, 2017) — An unidentified woman was killed Monday night when she was struck by a driver on Jurupa Avenue, just east of Magnolia Avenue, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.

The fatal pedestrian accident was reported at 9:21 p.m. last night. The woman died of her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:25 p.m. Police say a the 55-year-old driver in a silver Ford Focus was heading westbound on Jurupa Avenue when they struck the woman who was walking across the road towards the north side.

The Riverside Police Department is heading up the investigation into the crash and will determine liability.
