RIVERSIDE, California (May 13, 2014) – At least one person was injured in a crash between a car and a FedEx semi-tractor trailer truck Tuesday morning on the westbound lanes of Highway 60, just west of Country Village Road, just west of Jurupa Valley, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 9:55 a.m., CHP officers responded to the crash involving a white Toyota Camry and the FedEx big rig truck in the center divider. There was debris in the lanes and a van also struck the center divider wall and was blocking the HOV lane, but the report did not indicate if that crash was separate or part of the first one.
Paramedics responded for those who were injured in the crash.
”Police will investigate crashes involving injuries to determine liability,” said Attorney James Johnson. “Anyone injured in this type of crash should get immediate help for their injuries for the best possible recovery.”
