RIVERSIDE, California (Monday, September 21, 2015) – Small children were allegedly injured in a hit-and-run traffic collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of the eastbound State Route Highway 91 and Central Avenue earlier this evening. The Riverside County Fire Department were the first emergency team to arrive on the scene. The wreckage of the victims’ vehicle required flatbed towing.
The accident occurred at about 9:40 p.m., according to a California Highway Patrol incident report. The accident is still under investigation by the Riverside CHP. The extent of the children’s injuries are unknown. No further details have been released.
