Motorcyclist Hurt in Collision on 60 Freeway in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2020) — A man riding a motorcycle was injured Thursday morning on the 60 Freeway at Day Street in Riverside.
The motorcycle accident was reported about 8:31 a.m. on Feb. 13th, the California Highway Patrol said.
The victim was struck by a white 4-door sedan in the HOV lane and the motorcycle wound up in the No. 1 lane, the report said. Paramedics responded to the scene to treat the injured rider. It appears based on the CHP report that the injuries were non-serious. It’s not known at this time whether the rider was taken to a hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by police who are reviewing the facts that led up to the crash.
The white vehicle was towed from the scene and the bike was also taken by flat bed tow truck.
