Boy, 16, Badly Hurt in Collision at Iowa Avenue and Spruce Street Tuesday
Riverside, CA (May 26, 2021) – A 16-year-old motorcycle rider suffered injuries following a traffic accident in the area of Iowa Avenue and Spruce Street Wednesday.

According to My News LA, the teenager was riding a 2004 Kawasaki traveling north on Iowa Avenue. Preliminary investigation revealed the motorcyclist collided with a 2019 Toyota Highlander at the Spruce Street intersection.
Officials said the Highlander pulled out of a business parking lot and entered the four-lane road, leading to the accident.
Shortly after 9:20 p.m., emergency team arrived at the site. Responding medical personnel found the rider hurled onto the pavement and with life-threatening. Due to the condition of the victim, paramedics transported the man to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment. The article published online mentioned authorities believe the patient is not expected to survive.
The conditions of other parties involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the motorcycle accident in Riverside.
