Major Injury Collision on State Route Highway 60 Saturday
Riverside, CA (September 18, 2021) – A traffic accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Saturday afternoon on State Route Highway 60.
The California Highway Patrol group reported the motorcyclist collided with a white Honda Civic on the westbound lanes of the highway. Per CHP log, the crash took place at the Main Street crossing.
Motorcycle Rider Badly Hurt in Riverside Accident, September 18
Rescue teams arrived at the scene shortly after 2:50 p.m. Responding medical personnel found the rider lying down in the HOV lane of the highway. Good Samaritans rendered aid to the victim until paramedics arrived. According to the CHP dispatch, the rider sustained major injuries as a result of the wreck. The name of the victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine exactly how and why the motorcycle accident on State Route 60 in Riverside happened.
