
Motorcyclist Injured in Crash on 60 Freeway
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (August 4, 2023) — A motorcycle rider was injured Friday morning in a Riverside accident involving a semi-truck on the 60 Freeway, just west of Day Street.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes around 7:48 a.m. on August 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

A witness called 911 to report a black motorcycle, a semi-truck and a white Kia Optima were involved in the collision. The rider went down in the middle traffic lanes and was “not moving,” the report said.
Meanwhile, the Riverside Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene and they located the injured rider in the No. 1 lane suffering from undisclosed injuries. It’s unknown if the rider was transported to a hospital or just treated on scene.
The report had no further information at this time.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Riverside motorcycle accident on the 60 Freeway.
