RIVERSIDE, California (September 16, 2015) — A motorcyclist suffered minor injuries Wednesday morning in a crash with two other motorists on the northbound Interstate 215 Freeway at Martin Luther King Boulevard, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 8:11 a.m. between the two vehicles. The Riverside Fire Department sent paramedics to assist the injured rider, but it appears one of the drivers left the scene of the crash and the other was described as a Honda Civic. Several vehicles stopped at the scene and were blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
Tippy’s Tow was called to remove the damaged silver 2008 BMW motorcycle from the scene of the crash.
An investigation into who caused the crash is underway by police to determine liability.
“Motorcyclists are at risk of being seriously hurt in traffic accidents so it’s important for other motorists to share the road,” said Attorney James Johnson.
