RIVERSIDE, California (June 3, 2014) —    A motorcyclist riding a black Harley Davidson Sportster was injured Tuesday morning in a crash with another driver on the State Route 91 Freeway at Green River Road, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.

Just mintues before 6 a.m., CHP officers responded to the Riverside motorcycle accident in the No. 1 lane where the rider crashed with the driver of a tan Toyota Camry.

Paramedics responded to transport the injured motorcycle rider to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim for treatment of undisclosed injuries sustained in the Riverside accident, the report said. Circle City Tow and J&M Tow were on the scene to remove the disabled vehicles. A SigAlert was issued to alert other motorists after traffic began to back up near the crash site.

“Motorcyclists are extremely vulnerable to injury on our busy freeways,” said Attorney James Johnson. “I hope this rider has a full recovery.”
