RIVERSIDE, California (December 1, 2015) — A blue pickup truck and a yellow semi-tractor trailer truck collided early Tuesday morning in one of two crashes on the southbound Interstate 215 Freeway at Columbia Avenue, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 5:48 a.m. when pickup truck collided with the truck and was underneath it. A white Toyota Sienna also ran over a tire in the No. 1 lane and was damaged. Other vehicles including a white Chevrolet work truck, a maroon Chevrolet Astro van, a black Toyota Corolla and a white Honda Accord were also involved in a collision.
A total of six vehicles appeared to be involved in two separate crashes, but details about what led to these accidents were not disclosed in the CHP report.
Paramedics responded to help those who were hurt in the accidents.
