RIVERSIDE, California (April 1, 2016) – One was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision Friday on westbound Highway 60, east of Rubidoux Boulevard, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch. (map)
As per CHP, approximately five vehicles collided, including blue 4-door Mazda 3 and a gold Chrysler, shortly before 5:30 p.m.
The female driver of the Chrysler told the officers at the site that she she caused the crash. However, it was not stated in the report how the accident began.
Meanwhile, fire department personnel along with the paramedics responded to the scene and transported one victim to Riverside Community Hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities will continue to investigate.
