Pickup Truck, Hyundai Crash at Riverside Intersection
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (June 6, 2018) — A driver allegedly ran through a stop sign Wednesday afternoon and crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of McAllister Street and Grove Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 12:04 p.m. today between a black Hyundai sedan and a silver Ford F-250 pickup truck hauling a trailer. The truck struck a pole and knocked it down. The report does not say which driver reportedly ran through the stop sign, but there was debris in traffic lanes and a clean up was required.
Paramedics responded to the scene, but it’s unknown at this time if anyone was hospitalized.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
TRAFFIC ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Police are investigating this collision and will determine whether any traffic citations should be filed against either driver. We do not know whether or not there were witnesses who saw the crash.
