1 Injured in Riverside Crash on 215 Freeway Near Blaine Street
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 31, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a crash on the 215 Freeway near Blaine Street in Riverside.
According to an article published by My News LA, the accident took place on Thursday. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:40 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Riverside. They crashed in the fast lane of the southbound 215 Freeway, just north of Blaine Street.
Multiple Cars Collide
CHP described the cars as a Tesla, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a Toyota Sienna SUV. Two of them obtained significant damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the the southbound side of the 215 Freeway to shut down near Blaine Street following the wreck. The cause of the Riverside crash is still under investigation.
