Semi-Truck Collides with 2 Vehicles on I-215 Freeway
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Nov. 12, 2021) — A multi-vehicle Riverside truck accident on the Interstate 215 Freeway happened early Friday morning near Columbia Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol reported the accident about 6:25 a.m. on Nov. 12th.
The driver of a white big rig truck reportedly crashed into a guardrail before hitting two other motorists. A gray Honda Civic reportedly went under the semi-truck and wound up facing the wrong way in the No. 2 traffic lane. The gray Nissan Altima also collided with the semi-truck.
Multi-Vehicle Crash in Riverside on I-215 Freeway
Paramedics with the Riverside Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash, but there are no specific details. Authorities issued a SigAlert for roughly an hour at 6:42 a.m. due to the vehicles blocking the freeway.
Tow trucks responded to remove two vehicles from the accident scene on the Interstate 215 Freeway.
Investigators seek to determine fault for the collision. Witnesses may contact authorities to help them solve liability for the case.
