Semi Truck vs. Car Accident Near Rainbow Canyon
Fallbrook, CA (December 14, 2022) – Two roadway workers suffered injuries following a traffic collision that occurred on the Interstate 15 Freeway, the Village News reported.
On December 8, Thursday, a semi truck and another vehicle of unknown make and model collided in the southbound side of the freeway. Our sources indicated the crash took place near Rainbow Canyon in Fallbrook.

The article published online at least one vehicle, or debris from the incident hit two roadway workers doing work on the side of the highway. Medical personnel responded to the crash site shortly after 7:45 p.m. According to the article published online, the two roadway workers both sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Paramedics transported the two victims to trauma centers for further treatment.
Authorities added the driver of the semi truck was trapped in the wreckage after the accident. Firefighters worked extensively to pull out the truck driver, then transported them to a hospital. Personal information on the three patients hurt in the accident have not been discussed thus far.
Police shut down the area until about 10 p.m. to give way to the investigation process. At this time, detectives continue to work to determine the precise cause of the traffic crash that happened on Interstate 15 in Fallbrook.
